9 Days – Discover Magical Türkiye

Day 1 – AIRPORT OF ORIGIN – ISTANBUL

Departure according to flight plan.
Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel.
Accommodation.

Day 2 – ISTANBUL

Breakfast. Departure to visit the Rustem Pasha Mosque, famous for its large number of tiles of different geographical shapes and decorated with floral motifs.
Continuation to the pier to take a boat ride on the Bosphorus, a canal that separates Europe and Asia. During the tour we will be able to see the palaces of the ancient sultans.
We will end the visit in the Spice Bazaar (also known as the Egyptian Bazaar), the second largest covered bazaar in Istanbul. Rest of the day free at your disposal.
Accommodation.

Day 3 – ISTANBUL – ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA (733 Km.)

Breakfast. At the scheduled time, departure by road to Ankara crossing the Bolu mountains. Stop in Ankara to visit Atatürk's mausoleum, a symbol of Turkish culture. The mausoleum, made of a 40-ton block of marble, was inaugurated in 1953 and was built to honor the founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey. The building draws attention because it was built in a central location that allowed it to be seen from any part of Ankara and because its ceilings are decorated with carpets.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Continuation to Cappadocia where on the way we will discover a of the most brilliant jewels of Turkey, the salt pans of Tuz Gölü (the salt lake), which with its 48 km long and 80 km wide hypnotizes us with its whiteness.
Arrival at the hotel in Cappadocia. Dinner and accommodation.

Optional:
Flight Istanbul/Cappadocia: You miss the visit to the Atatürk mausoleum, the views of the salt lake and lunch of the day.

Day 4 – CAPPADOCIA

Breakfast. Departure to visit the fascinating Cappadocia, a region with a unique landscape in the world. The area was formed by the lava thrown by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago and in 1985 it was included by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites, with a protected area of almost 10,000 hectares.
Visit of the open-air museum in the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex made up of churches excavated in the rock with beautiful frescoes.
We also visit the Avcilar Valley, from where we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the valley better known as “Chimneys of the fairies". Next will come the Guvercinlik Valley, better known as “Valley of the Pigeons” and the most famous in Cappadocia.
Lunch in a local restaurant and continuation of the tour visiting a craft workshop in the area, where you can buy carpets, onyx and turquoise.
Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

Optional:
Turkish Night: Turkish folk dance show in a typical cave, with unlimited local drinks.
Hot air balloon: Balloon excursion at sunrise with transfers included. Subject to weather conditions.

Day 5 – CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE (630 Km.)

Breakfast and departure to Konya, known for being the cradle of the order of the Dancing Dervishes. Stop to visit a “caravansarai”, an ancient building that arose along the main roads where caravans that made long journeys lasting many days could spend the night, rest and recover.
Lunch in a local restaurant and continuation to Pamukkale, a place where the high calcareous concentration of its thermal waters that emanate from its terraces of white travertine rock has created one of the most spectacular formations in the world.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Note: If time permits, you will have free time at the hotel to enjoy the thermal baths.

Day 6 – PAMUKKALE – EPHESUS – IZMIR AREA (270 Km. )

Breakfast. Departure to Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic city that is now in ruins and has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988.
Visit the famous Cotton Castle, a natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites and natural pools formed by over the centuries by the passage of waters loaded with calcareous salts from thermal springs.
Transfer to Selcuk, center of Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city in Asia Minor that during the 1st and 2nd centuries had a population of 250,000 inhabitants and monopolized the wealth of the Middle East. We will visit the Temple of Hadrian, the Roman Baths, the Library, the Odeon, the Theater and we will finish at the House of the Virgin Mary, the place where she spent the last years of her life.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
By In the afternoon we will visit a leather workshop where we can see the famous fabrics of the Aegean region.
Transfer to the hotel in the Izmir area. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – ISMIRNA AREA – TROY – CANAKKALE (325 Km. )

Breakfast and transfer by road to the mythical Troy, a city both historical and legendary, where the well-known “Trojan War” took place, described in several epic poems. After centuries of oblivion, its ruins were discovered in excavations carried out in 1871 by Heinrich Schliemann, and were declared a World Heritage Site in 1998.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Visit of the ruins and the famous “Trojan Horse” ” reconstructed in wood.
Continuation to Canakkale, located on the shores of the Dardanelles Strait.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 – CANAKKALE – ISTANBUL

Breakfast. Early departure to cross into the European part of Turkey via the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge that crosses the Dardanelles Strait and, at the time of its inauguration, March 2022, became the longest suspension bridge in the world.
Time for lunch and continuation by road to Istanbul.
Arrival, transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

Day 9 – ISTANBUL – DESTINATION AIRPORT

Breakfast. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to take the return flight and end of our services.
