Evening arrival to Marrakech Menara airport. Transfer to the hotel/riad in Marrakech. Optional visit to the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. [If the flight arrives in the morning, we’ll spend the day visiting the city]
Breakfast. We take a picturesque mountain road that pass over the High Atlas, showing us a sensational view in our journey to Ouarzazate, where we’ll arrive before lunch to spend the rest of the day.
Breakfast. We travel over the wonderful Draa Valley in our way to our hotel in Mhamid, at the foot of the Chegaga dunes, with a previous stop in Zagora for lunch and visit to Tamegrout, ancient educational and religious institution, famous for being the house of the library of the desert, that keeps manuscripts over seven hundred years old in excellent state of conservation due to the low humidity of the area.
Breakfast. We discover the surroundings of Mhmid riding a camel and return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, we go to one of the oasis within the Chegaga dunes that were used in the mythic caravan route of Timbuktu, where we’ll sleep in our jaima wrapped up under the spectacular blanket of stars.
Breakfast. Departure to Foum-Zguid along an off-road trail that skirts the imposing dry lake of Iriki. Lunch in Foum-Zguid and departure to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, distinguished by its charm and beauty. Overnight in this peculiar place.
Breakfast. Transfer to Marrakech Menara airport. End of travel. [The return flight must be in the afternoon]
