After an early breakfast, we depart for a 4 hours ascent to Tizi n´Likemt pass, where we´ll make a stop to enjoy the view. From here, we take an easy stroll down (1 hour) before a new stop for the picnic. After lunch, we continue about another hour before we reach our camp site in Aouri river riverside, close to Azib n´Likemt.
Early departure from the encampment following Aouri River and gradual ascent to Aouri pass (3.109 m). We´ll take a picnic stop on route and in the afternoon we´ll descent passing the Berber village of Tagounite before we reach our destiny in Amsouzarte (1.740 m), where we´ll sleep in a Berber house.
The route from Amsouzarte to Tissaldaï goes gently up along Tifnou valley. Once Tissaldaï is passed, the path becomes more difficult in our ascent to Imagha pass (3.426 m) before we head to Tifni (2.820 m), where we´ll camp to spend the night.
The day begins with the ascent to Tizi n´Tarharate pass (3.442 m) with a following descent to Sidi Chamharouch (2.310 m), where we´ll camp close to the pools of the river in wich it´s possible to swim.
This is a relatively easy morning march along Mizane river until we reach Nelter refuge. Here we´ll enjoy a good meal and we´ll have the rest of the day to explore the area and to prepare ourselves to the summit ascent of the next day.
This is our longest journey -about 9 hours trekking- that will start with a 2-3 hours steep ascent to Toubkal summit (4.167 m), where we will enjoy the wonderful sight of the High Atlas from our privileged position. Then we return to the refuge for lunch and we descent back the Mizane valley until we reach Imlil, our starting village, in the evening. Housing and dinner in guest house.
Breakfast and return to Marrakech. End of our services.
Variant: As an option, it´s possible to return to Marrakech the same day we reach Imlil (day 7), though it´s recommendable to rest that night in the cosy guest house of Imlil and leave the next day. Seek advice over the prices.
